Good point! Didn't even think about that. I was bored waiting in line at the time. Guess I'll have to go back

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I know I haven't kept up lately but I've bought both a Slayback XL and a Turbo (same length, similar to the Magnitude, also by Peter Carey) in teh past couple of months. That Slayback XL might be the sliciest thing I own. No idea how thick it is behind the edge, but I'm leaning to VERY slim there, the angle seems fairly low but the microbevels are itty bitty and that ZDP-189 just glides through things. Don't expect toughness but it is sure a cutting machine. The Turbo isn't quite as slicey but is another well-built Carey design, like a magnitude without a hole and looks and feels great, also in ZDP-189.

Moving to fixed blades.
Bought a CRKT Minimalist Katana to see what it's all about. Might wear it around my neck or on my belt horizontally at 10 o'clock for left hand draw.
Just started wearing a Cold Steel Urban Edge around my neck.
Looking to buy 2 - Spyderco Nighsticks next, one for iwb at 2 o'clock, and one for rear horizontal draw at 5 o'clock.

Glad to hear a positive review on it. I'm surprised it's been available for as long as it has. For the size and materials, that's a darn good deal on a great looking knife.defenestrate wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:40 pmI know I haven't kept up lately but I've bought both a Slayback XL and a Turbo (same length, similar to the Magnitude, also by Peter Carey) in teh past couple of months. Im surprised too. If I would of known they were making a XL Slayback I probably would of rather had that then the XLC. But the XLC is a pretty sweet and light integral!TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:53 pmGlad to hear a positive review on it. I'm surprised it's been available for as long as it has.
