Wife came down stairs and sees me looking at computer and says "what are you doing?" you say just looking at pictures and she runs over and flops down next to you thinking she's caught you looking at porn. She says "Looking at knives again! You're so weird." I wonder if she would be happier if it was porn instead of Spyderco?

I can relate. My first Spydie was an ATS-55 Endura3 SE from my dad that had been his work knife for many years. As we easily discovered, ATS-55 is extremely brittle. He managed to snap half an inch off the tip and put a quarter-inch crack in the spine. However, it holds an edge perfectly. Although I have a number of different Spydercos I recently I decided to consentrate on Delica's . No one likes to admit it , but it's really hard to improve on perfection .
