Hi Wouter.

As always great and epic pictures!
Maybe we should ask for a white back ground next year while showing the knices on gthe meet?

I was wondering. Did the dutch customs released their Spyderco hostiges yet? :zany

Nice to once again get a glimpse into the crystal ball.
I considered the Charisma to be one of the most interesting designs shown last year, and it still holds that spot.
Some years back, I really really wanted a Gareth Bull small Shamwari, but it was not very obtainable to me at the time. Then my interest in titanium frame locks faded and with that the shamwari became less and less relevant until it totally dropped from my radar.
With that backstory, I find it interesting that Spyderco is now working with Gareth Bull. I don't think the Wolfmouse is hitting the mark for me though, but I'm hopeful that their cooperation doesn't stop there.

I wonder if we can generate enough interest in the Charisma we can get it fast-tracked through to production? 😆
Maybe leap frog some of the upcoming weird non-user / “collector” models like the Edgerati and The Nand etc.

I'm most interested in seeing how well these coatings hold up compared to DLC, which in my experience has been pretty amazing.

What worries me is this will introduce a whole bunch of potential variants and clog up production with "the same models". But, I have faith, they did just build an expansion so I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I pity the "Pokemon" collectors, who will now have 140 instead of only 70 Pm * variants to collect :)

I believe those new variations, sprints, exclusives etc. A lot of dealers have sort of trademark combo for their exclusives. Like GP Knives white G10 or lightweight or St. NIicks knives red. We're running out of colors. 😁

This is a very hard hitting comment 🤣

But then I'll also have that much respect (and pitty) for whoever does catch'em all.

Yes potentially too backed up with niche knives, novelty knives, trinket knives, bauble knives, general bric-a-brack and outright landfill. :squinting-tongue

Give me the proper tool knives meant for carryin’ and cuttin’ please.

Thats an interesting take but given all the new models we're being shown, this has already been one of the best Amsterdam Meet threads in years! :party-face

I'm just glad Spyderco is getting back to making new stuff again instead of making the same five models 99 different ways.

I think Spyderco could take some pointers from Pokemon... like Regional variants for example only available in specific regions how cool would that be... :winking-tongue

I would ask Sal and Eric for a Manix XL in forrest green with an earth brown blade in M390 for Western Europe for example... :zany

"making the same five models 99 different ways."
And you don't think that is how it will end up?, Really? :)

I had an original balance. I think it had the same clip. Not comfortable.

And that's all folks, I have no other videos or photos to share from the meet. I'll dig into this thread to see if I can answer any questions etc... Thanks for watching!
