Added a couple trough feeders so I can really pour the protein to the herd…feeding 10 bags/week @50lbs each and so far 500lbs barely lasts but you gotta pay to play 😉

The troughs look nice . Where did you find them ? My feeder box has been very slow . The fencing addition to cemetery and also installing gate has really created a bottleneck to back of property . Dan

Hopefully all that time and money pays off! We just finished up trapping and took a bunch of yotes and a fox out of the rotation. Conservation department came and shot 20 or so hogs from their helicopter as well. It's warming up now and I'm looking forward to predator and hog control.

Awesome, unfortunately or fortunately 🤔 we don’t have many predators on this tract, I’ve only seen a couple coyotes, one red fox and one bobcat plus no hogs…however I refuse to feed the four fat coons that visit on the regular so setting the trap this weekend…there’s no restrictions on raccoon or opossum trapping on private land here in Georgia 🦝

I like to do my stand maintenance in the off season and keep the trimming to a minimum…if it blends in with the surroundings you’re good 👍

Resurrecting this thread. Haven't had much in the way of shooter bucks yet. These guys could probably use another year.

Those are some nice bucks, the top one has some really good tine length and wouldn’t survive many a hunter.

Here’s a few pics from one of my favorite spots…it’s got an incredible buck:doe ratio for free range and probably helps that it’s a bow-only county with very mountainous terrain and little to no surrounding hunting pressure 🦌

We had this guy on camera. One of our guys had his son out and hit him with a xbow at about 10 yards around 5pm. Apparently lost blood tail around 250yrds in the dark so they backed out and then searched all day yesterday with no sign of him.

One of our buddies found him this morning after the yotes got him but hopefully can save the cape.

That’s a shame but what a dandy buck! Long beams and brows, hopefully the cape is salvageable. I HATE COYOTES w/a passion and won’t hesitate for a second to stick one if the opportunity presents itself…don’t really gun hunt much anymore unless we’re heading to south Texas but have smoked a couple pickup truck loads on a lease we had in Alabama which was infested with them…😉

Our season's been pretty slow. 3 bucks were taken, only one we had on camera but no real monsters. It was 82 degrees and windy for rifle opener. I haven't had a chance to hunt below 50 degrees... just a crazy warm season this year.

Seen lots of does and a few small bucks. Our guys took a huge 2.5yr old 9pt and another bagged an older 12pt.

Have another nice one on camera but going to wait till it's colder to chase em
