National Knife Day GAW!
Re: National Knife Day GAW!
Really enjoying my new SE Chappy and looking forward to the Lil' Native LW when it releases. Thanks Spyderco!
Re: National Knife Day GAW!
First to mind is the Paramilitary 2. Easy to carry and a pleasure to use. The size makes it a great all-a-rounder. I like mine with tool steels!
Re: National Knife Day GAW!
Centofante 3. It’s the perfect blend of size, weight, cutting ability, and comfortable grip. It also has elegant lines. I need another one.

It doesn't get much pocket time anymore, but this one's a sentimental favorite:

For me, it’s the ParaMillie 2. Maybe the best all-around, go anywhere, do anything Spyderco ever created.

Out of the ones I own, I’d have to say PM2. I may like the Manix a little more in the hand but in the pocket PM2 takes up less room.
I need to try a Shaman and the Nirvana on the first page is sweet, but I’m too poor for one of those.

My favourite Spyderco has got to be the Jumpmaster 2. It is everything you need in a work knife - tough, mega corrosion resistant, easy to sharpen, long enough to be useful but short enough to not get in the way. An absolutely fantastic knife by any metric. It also does a convincing impression of a chainsaw in a pinch.

That’s a tough one trying to name just one but I’d have to say, all around, the Para Military 2 with tool steel on the pointy end.
Re: National Knife Day GAW!
My favorite Spyderco is the original Pacific Salt in H1. I've carried the plain edge version nearly exclusively since 2006. I like it because it carries unobtrusively, requires almost zero maintenance and it sharpens quite easily.

Para 3 (C223PTBL) Lightweight, Teal FRN, Satin CPM S90V, wear & corrosion resistant steel, great edge retention

Necromonger: What do you think of this blade?
Riddick: I think it is a half gram heavy on the back end.

Has to be the Spidiechef. The slim profile and great blade shape really work for me.

Re: National Knife Day GAW!
Any Spyderco knife is my favorite because I’d love to have one. I had one a while ago but I had to sell it. Sad day lol. I own a couple Civivi knives that are all under $40 but I really want to own any Spyderco in G10. Probably a Para 3!! That’s the one I had. It had camo scales and I don’t remember what steel but man I loved that knife! It wasn’t like the digital camo you see today it was like blotches of brown and white. Kind of looked like a cow lol my GF at the time got it for me and she said they told her it was a special one. I never found out why.

My favorite Spyderco knife is the Vallotton Sub-Hilt™ G-10 Black C149G. https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/C149G/668

My favorite one is definitely Spyderco Military. It's classic, convenient, US made and I just love the design and ergonomics of it

The Manix 2 is close to my perfect knife. I love the ergonomics, the blade shape, and the ambidextrous locking mechanism. I also appreciate the close bias and the ability to make the blade drop free.
I just wish there was a 'micro-manix' in the size of the Chaparral.

Hard to pick just one favorite Spyderco, but I’d have to go with the Spydiechef. It’s simple and uniquely complex at the same time. Each time it makes its way back into my pocket, I’m reminded what an incredible tool it is.
Re: National Knife Day GAW!
I would have to say the manix 2 lw in Rex 45 seems to get the most pocket time over my native 5 lw . Both of these will be bumped once the new carbon fiber military 2 comes out though .
