Well, I think I'm ready to drop the hammer on my Super Bowl teams & winner
I believe winner of the A.F.C. will be the Denver Broncos
The N.F.C. & Super Bowl Champions will.be none other than #12 & Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Absolute not on both accounts!!!

First off you didn't even read what I had to say about why Seattle dumped Russell Wilson.

Second Lord Brady is getting close to Social Security age and eventually one of those hungry defensive ends is going to finally show him that it's a game for young bucks. And it won't be without pain either. And Lord Brady won't get past the Rams this time either.

The Broncos won't even beat the Raiders in the AFC West. Dude!!!?? are you all right??? :beaming-face

Dude I'm concerned about you. Are you having delusions of grandeur? I will say that those picks would be a huge payout at a Vegas casino if it were to come to fruition. But Russell Wilson's first year with a really mediocre team?? Are you kidding me??

Again the Seahawks parted with Russell for a good reason. If he still had Superbowl asperations they wouldn't have parted with him. Pete Carroll ain't no fool. He'll play .500 ball at best this year is my prediction.

With all the extreme changes that have taken place this year particularly in the AFC I truly would hate to predict who will make it to the big dance. But I will say this. If any of those defensive draft picks of the Chiefs pan out like I think they will>> it will be a completely different team this year. We've been needing defensive players for 5 years now. Keep your eyes on George Karlaftis, Leo Chenal and Trent McDuffie. Those boys are going to pay dividends I do believe.

Lord of the NFL, Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. may be close to social security age but he was still voted NUMBER 1 player in the league by his peers in 2022!!!

Image

There’s not a single player in the league, past or present, that will ever hold a candle to what Brady has done. He is the greatest football player to ever be a part of this game. There will never be another player like him and his legacy will forever remain unmatched.

Really?? I think Sir Patrick Mahomes might end up being rated pretty high when it's all said and one. For all intent and purposes he's still pretty young and getting better.

Sometimes it's just the Luck Of the Draw when players end up on good teams >> similar to Joe Montana and Steve Young both having all those great years at San Francisco >> but time will tell.

A 6th rd pick is not luck of the draw. Any team could have drafted him at any point before he was drafted. He is the best. He proved it time and time again. He won a superbowl on the buccs while being old AF and still putting up great numbers. It wasn’t a Peyton’s corpse on the Broncos situation. Give the man his due for once.

I agree with SG, at this point it's not even arguable! It's set in stone. The man won all these Superbowls and for what, one season did he have a TRUE #1 receiver (Randy Moss)?? Imagine if Brady had guys like Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Terrell Owens, Roger Craig, Garrison Hearst, Rickey Waters...just to name a few great pieces of offense that Montana and Young had around them that came off the top of my head.

I'm already over hearing about the freaking Chiefs and the season hasn't even started yet.

Hahaha, you settle down down there!! I'll never forget reading a blurb about him for fantasy football last year and the guy writing it literally called him "handsome Jimmy" Hahaha! My wife also finds him good looking, discovered that during the playoffs last year :straight-face I guess I can't hate though, he is a handsome fella.

I'm not sure how I would feel about that honestly. I really think Jones has some potential, hopefully it can begin to show. Jimmy is likely a bit pricey, and we're not ready to be contenders just yet!

This season may be the best yet, gang!
A lot of good teams this season!
The Cowboys, Packers, Rams, Bucs, 49'ers
The Bengals, Chiefs, Bills, Patriots, Chargers
Those are just a few of the good teams thi season
I'm really excited to see how my Steelers do, how the Jaguars do! Really anxious to see how Trevor Lawrence does with the Jags. Man, if they get that kid some help and weapons, then watch out!(lol, Lord Have Mercy, I would've given anything to have seen the Pats nab Lawrence! I should say my Steelers but, Belichick is like Brady in GOAT )
Anyway, I'm really excited for this season.

Man, I still believe in Daniel Jones. I really believe he's a late bloomer.

I don't think he'll be some kind of top 5 qb, but I do think if he plays well enough this year, he can get a contract and build with Daboll. Maybe become a top 12 qb?? I'd take that over what I've seen so far. He does show glimpses of talent and his ability to run is also important in today's league. We shall see!

Why what's wrong with the Chiefs? They are looking great so far in the pre-season and they ran the table in the draft.

They've been in 4 consecutive AFC Championship games since 2018. For a market no bigger than Kansas City I think they've done all right with the exception of that horrible Superbowl 55>> and I will admit that they performed horrible in that game. I haven't been that angry in over 30 years. And they literally killed the draft and bolstered their defense big time this year.

But I guess people are always going to find a reason to hate a team. But I really don't think they're in bad shape this year.

Gotta say, JD, its not that KC didn't perform good or just had a bad game.
Tom Brady & the Bucs just flat out destroyed them. They were outplayed and out coached. They couldve played that Super Bowl 100 times & 100 times Brady & the Bucs would beat their azz but good.
And it was such a sound azz whoopin that it took a very long time for KC to recover from. Nah, KC didn't just play a bad game, they got annihilated.
But, its not all bad. It was just absolutely amazing to watch #12 The GOAT Tom Brady- just lay down the law on who was the best QB - there was no doubt that Brady was both Master & Commander of the field that night....you gotta admit JD, that Brady & the Bucs were men amongst boys that night.
And, I have nothing against KC.
I just calls em likes I sees em
Lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but I will tell you that those dadgone rootn tootn Dallas Cowboys of the 1990's were absolutely AWESOME! ( Im a big Deion Sanders fan! I follow him on Face Book/)They had swagger and they could back it up. My God, who knows how many Lombardi Trophies that dam bunch wouldve won, had Jimmy Johnson stayed there.

Well it sure isn't the same friendly atmosphere here as it was a couple of years ago. But I'll take the hint from all of you and hit the road. Not a problem

But I will say one more thing before I vacate the premises>> "In The Department Store of Life; Sports Is In The Toy Department". Enjoy your private party.

I know one thing for sure the 2023 Super Bowl will be played a short cat ride from my home.

Local Super Bowl Committee will
Publicist all the money the Super Bowl will dump into local economy.

I maybe going out on limb but I would be willing to bet our local NFL will not be playing in big game.

Joe!! Settle down brother!! That's the fun of this thread, we're all from all over the country and are fans of all different teams for the most part! Obviously we're going to hate on the Chiefs, just like any other team that is better than ours! Come on man, you've been on the planet long enough to deal with sports banter! I still hear to this day how the Giants didn't deserve either of their past 2 Super Bowls...so what!!

There's no private party, you should know better than that.
