Well, that was something bound to happen. One company cannot just adjust quantity on something that was already planned !
It's gonna take a few Mules to adjust to this new demand, having the opportunity to get one is something already.
Might just sit out of this one purely because of the price for EU, buying a second for someone else helped a bit.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Got my time off for tomorrow so I can run to the store and grab one of these. I'm interested in it since I have no laminated steels.

Is there a reason Mules cannot be rerun?

Hopefully I'll see you there- the stars aligned so I'm on vacation up on the north side of Boulder this week, I'm just worried about how bad the roads might be in the morning. It's already getting pretty messy outside. :crossed-fingers :snowflake :snowflake

Totally off topic but I am jealous of you guys living in CO. Been there a few times and it is beautiful, a whole lot nicer than the mid Atlantic where I am from. Enjoy the snow, it’s 60f plus here tomorrow, no fun for winter.

Aside from the fact that the steels used before may not be available in small quantities, or even available at all and would still require the same production slot as a new, never before released Mule, and risk having a bunch of unsold inventory sitting on the shelf (which caused the last Mule hiatus), no.

Quite a few of the Mule steels have gone on to production use. The ones that haven't were probably not well received the first time. In my experience, Sal prefers to move forward rather than backward.

I live in France and pay $45 in shipping. I need to buy two to make it worth my while and either equip a friend or gift to a relative in order to get feedback from them in real world use (kitchen, wood, shop, ...).
Hein ? Isn't it 25$ instead ? :thinking

As per the Spyderco page provided by Kristi :
International Orders (Includes Guam, Virgin Islands, Canada, and Mexico)

Total Order Amount of $0.01 to $99.99 – $25.00 – USPS International Priority Mail

Total Order Amount of $100.00 to $399.99 – $45.00 – USPS International Priority Mail

Total Order Amount of $400 or more – $60.00 – USPS International Priority Mail
The Mule being priced at 75$, ordering just one example should put you in the 25$ bracket.

Well, I changed my mind, sometimes my emotions get the best of me, I was angry about only being able to buy one but its far worse to be petulant.

The option to get one is better than none.

I, We, should all be grateful for the Mule Team Program, it doesn't have to exist yet it does exist almost solely for the sake of how passionate Spyderco is to get knife steel out to folks. Which deserves our gratefulness and admiration rather than endless threads complaining about resales, difficulty procuring and buying two or one.

Lets just get these and check em out.
If we miss out, so be it.

I always take at least one sheath for one of the two mules ^^

Ah that makes sense. But consider this an occasion for you to get your hands on a 3D printed sheath instead 🤷‍♂️

Was waiting on Josh to develop a design, didn't see what Ilocano73 did. I'm used to leather sheaths, and only own one for the 3 mules I have. I'll think about it, thanks.

News is saying roads aren't great, nothing in my immediate area is plowed, and gps is predicting the drive to take at least twice as long as usual. Looks like I'm going to try to order online and pickup tomorrow.

Good luck to all!
