My personal trifecta of “satisfying to operate” small knives:
I actually find the dragonfly to be a really satisfying knife to operate, myself. But if you’re looking for a flicky, compression lock model, the lil native really is where it’s at…so much so that I sought it out in both micarta and titanium. I carry those into Boston (sub 2.5” legality) when I want something more substantial with me and man, are they ever substantial for their size. There’s a special kind of high speed, low mass flick factor to the lil native that’s incredibly satisfying.
