neat!
i thought the steel manufacturers were the ones designing the logos
It depends on the steel and the foundry. In the case of H1 and LC, it was ours to create.

You did a great job on both. I normally don't like engraving on a blade but I love the logos on the Salts.

I also don't care for a lot of engraving on a blade but I've come to see the H1 logo as a sort of badge of honor. I wouldn't mind seeing the LC logo in the same place on the front of the blade.

That's great, exactly what I was thinking with previous comment.
(As it happens, I have a trademark renewal on my desk !)

Mine arrived yesterday, and my first impression is that this is ultimate expression of both the Native and SALT series.

Got mine yesterday after a scare, the delivery notification came to my phone but no package...I drove thru the neighborhood, found my mail man and told him about it....he said he didnt remember so i filed an inquiry with the post office...20 min later knock on the door was the mailman with the package...he had delivered it to the wrong house 1/2 mile away...was so thankful he found it, was waiting a long time for these and they would now be hard to replace. Love the knife noticed the frn is more like my manix 2 LW and less like my delica but minor detail, great knife.

Anyone get tracking info or shipment notification from smoky mountain yet on their pre order? I’m foaming at the mouth now knowing they are in the wild!

Got mine today! :D 14 days to spare before 2019. I never lost faith! Well worth the wait. Will be grabbing the SE version after I recover from the holidays.

Got mine yesterday from KC. Does anyone else find theirs very stiff. Mine is, and it's not a "tight pivot" issue. Rather it seems to be the amount of tension the spring and lockbar put on the blade.

Well I called smoky mountain today and with my order number was told “it’s back ordered, so we’ll ship it when we get one” when I responded that it had been in stock the other day, and I got the email saying they were I was told that was incorrect and they don’t have them yet.
Sooo I ordered one from DLT that will be here Thursday....

Mine is, too, but I haven't had a chance to try adjusting the pivot.

Is it pinned or can this knife be disassembled?

Looks like screws to me, so I think it is disassembleable. I don't have a lightweight or salt Native, so I can't be 100% sure.

The lock bar is pinned, but the rest is screw construction. I'm not sure how easy it is to disassemble.

The lockbar should just have a floating pivot, like the linerless G10 version, not a pin (rivet). At least that's how it looks.
