Some do feel that way, no doubt. However, many of us feel that the newly redesigned back lock is the way forward. I have owned the BBL Manix and did not love the lock (the knife itself is great). The new BL version improves many things besides the lock. I am looking forward to more steel choices, an FRN version, and most importantly, an XL.
