Very interested in the 204P Military, love that green color, that would be my 1st pick, top of my list anyway. :D

But then I am bias because the Military is my favorite model. :) :o

Not in hiding was away from the internet for a while over there then making my way back to the US.

So the M4 is going to be TI or some special color of G-10?
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

Here is my M4... I bought it used and it came to me with this patina. It is a used knife and I use it for light work so I'm not concerned about some patina and wear. It actually reminds me that it is a steel for hard work.

YES.
You should bring back that Forum Knife poll thread and have another revote after this news has broken and changed things around.
Uhhhhh, no thank you? ;) :D

Another forum member is free to do that if they think it will help. I personally don't since the results were showing a strong preference for the PM2 and then the Caly 3.5 as a strong second.

But a nice diamond cut green G10 (or dark blue - not smurf) Caly 3.5 in a new Japanese boutique steel or as yet unused steel sure would be nice.......preferably stainless, perhaps SuperGold?

I believe that even without the thought of an M4 PM2 as the "dream Forum knife" that the PM 2 probably would have won.....or at least been at a tie.

In any case, Spyderco and Sal has seen that polling and the resulting discussion in that thread and others and I wouldn't want to start up another poll in the same nagging spirit as a young child sitting in the backseat of a car repeating "Are we there yet?" .....over and over.

I think at this point Spyderco has a general feeling as to what a decent number of forumites would prefer......whether or not that is something that they can provide logistically is another story.

I will trust Spyderco to put out something nice as the next Forum knife and leave it at that. :)

I don't know why you're rolling eyes at it. I thought it was your thread, but maybe my recollection was wrong, sorry. Was just a suggestion anyway, based on a guess that the poll may change a bit with news of this highly anticipated exclusive already coming and not being a chance of a Forum Knife as an M4 PM2... with Caly 3.5 in second maybe it could have taken over the top spot. But you're right, regardless, all the right people have hopefully already seen that and correlated it to other things we don't know behind the scenes like this M4 PM2 exclusive, and are eyeballing to shoot a Caly down the pipeline instead! :D
Going back to Caly.

I guess I jumped the gun with my prev. post.
Got the green light and posted the info. My mistake.
Sorry about that, I did not intend it to look like an add.
Guess I was just a bit too exited about these three.
Hopefully no harm no foul with anyone here. :)
Taz PM'd me, so I am good there.
And that means a lot to me.
:spyder:  :spyder:  :spyder:  :spyder:
More S90v & CF please.......

MCM, I'm curious, will the Militaries have the new stepped pivot bushing as seen on the blue Bento S90V Military?

I didn't see a problem, would have either been you posting it or Spyderco would have done it anyway by announcing them.

I the end we would have found out about them one way or the other. :D
