Just like "Surfingringo" said on another thread>> how about the IMPALA model in the H-1 Salt Series? But I would also be very happy with a Sprint of the IMPALA model in one of the newer blade steels>> but I certainly wouldn't reject a Sprint Run of the IMPALA model in it's original VG-10.
I would also like to see the IMPALA model with one of those digital/camo handles like on the MILITARY models. But the IMPALA was never fully appreciated and I bet a return of that model would catch fire quickly.

Caly Jr. with jimping on choil & (maybe) thumb ramp...VG10 is fine...AND PLEASE KEEP THE FISHSCALES...THEY ARE PERFECT AESTHETICALLY, THEMATICALLY, & FUNCTIONALLY...( I hope they didn't break the molds )
I am not emotionally vested in the swedge...I like it for nostalgia's sake, but a flat spine like with the Caly 3.5 is more functional in most uses...so it can go or stay

Have they ever done a Salt model in non-FRN construction? I can't recall anything else.
Seems it would be almost out of the question for a model that doesn't have production tooling for FRN to be made a Salt... but maybe I'm wrong?

Dodo! Like I always say, we need to bring it back for the new guys who couldn't experience it back when it was in production. I'd love to see it come back. :D

But wouldn't mind the Kris, Barong or bolstered Persian either..
I like how you think! Since the large Persian got a red G-10 sprint a few years back, I think the smaller Persian deserves a matching sprint as well. And as long as we're at it, give the Kris the red G-10 treatment too! Since the Barong wasn't bolstered, I'd skip the red G-10 thing and just give it some super blue, grey G-10, and grind that blade further down into the ricasso.

Sounds like a perfect plan!! :D
(although I won't complain about the original Barong grind either when it comes out in Super Blue..)

I've been the voice in the wilderness crying out for some Salt models in Yellow G-10 or black G-10 scales for some time now. It seems like the Caspian Salt had something else other than FRN for a handle but I never owned one. I think maybe one or two of the other fixed blades might have had another type of handle material.

And no mention at all of the DYAD  Well "O" I'm just kind of taken back by that one

I believe, but need help with my unbelief.
We are talking about raising the dead here & in this case Sal is the boss.
He hears us, as he always does through the forum. Sal has answered us before & will answer again if the market can only see the value package that is in the Dyad.
The Dyad is two in one & as discussed before costs near two but folk see themselves only getting one.
Also as discussed before, a H1 salt Dyad with lanyard. Holy grail Spydie, right there.
For now I see more hope in the raising of the Cento four.
Alas, alack & woe is me
What poverty my muse brings forward
That having such a scope to show her pride
The argument all bare is of more worth
Than when it has my added praise beside !
O, blame me not, if I no more can write !
Look in your glass, & there appears a face
That over-goes my blunt invention quite,
Dulling my lines, & doing me disgrace.
Were it not sinful then, striving to mend,
To mar the subject that before was well ?
O.

I'd really like to see the PPT brought back in full SE maybe with some colored G010 handles and various steels, maybe S110v, as well as the Superleaf in SE and a black blade model.

Caly Jr with fish scales (and maybe some Super Blue or M4?) :) would indeed be very nice as well.

Duh I didn't even think of the PPT! However, for me, this design would be really set off with sculpted Ti scales instead of the steel+g10. The handle would shed it's excess pork, champagne would fall from the heavens, velvet robes would part.

Hard to pick one or even a couple....I'd probably say:
Caly, Jr. - I got the gray sprint as my first Spydie right as it got discontinued
Meerkat
Rookie
Phoenix
I know there are others I'm not remembering right off..

OH far from it "O" :) The Dyad is "Still Alive & Well" as the late Johnny Winter would say  . Right at this moment I'm lobbying for an H-1 Salt Dyad and I'm getting more support on that project all the time. But you being one of the hard core group here concerning the C-44 Dyad we need to now more than ever tout one of the greatest IN HOUSE Spyderco designs ever.
Another blade from the GOLDEN ERA that I would love to see return would be the Spyderedged Dodo>> trust me it's a completely different blade in Spyderedge. And a Sprint of the original FB05 Temperance 1 model in one of the Supersteels being it can't be done in H-1

Full sized Calypso with G-10 scales in multiple colors - Foliage Green, Olive Drab, Desert Tan, Blue, Crimson...oh, ****, just a smorgasbord of colors.
Love this knife, and it's at the top of my list to obtain.
I have two original Micarta Calypsos, and they were my favorite knives for many years.
