Burgundy, PE, VG-10 hollow grind for me. I'll get a few.

So we can only get zdp if it is in brg?
I'm sure if we can have ZDP-189 with any of the frn color choices then the poll would be much different.

Haven't bought any knives since the last Jester sprint, but I'm in for this whatever the color, since to me Jester is unrivaled as the coolest little knife ever. Pardon my ignorance, but is it possible to have FRN in greenish camo or Lil Temp green?

I am not sure about camo, but any monochrome color shouldn't be a problem. Using color-Analizer you can match colors so human eye will not see a difference.

Is it time for a new poll with the top 3 options? (BRG, Navy Blue, and Orange)

The voting does seem to have slowed down so I don't see why not?

If GITD won the second pole as well, we couldn't really submit that answer to Sal unless he said it was possible.

I think that this is more like a dream. To the best of my knowledge Spyderco made two Forum knives for EDC forum with GID scales and material was provided by the customer. Both knives were US made. Jester made in Japan. Probably GID FRN possible, but not realistic. Also I am not sure that everybody who voted GID will be willing to pay for it.

I think its a waste of time until we know it can work. Sal knows we are interested and I am sure he will look into it. I think we should wait for him to weigh in before we move on to the next poll. We need to clear up whether or not BRG is reserved for ZDP only.

That would give people a chance to put their money where their mouth is and minimise the risk vor spyderco.

Not at my time. I never heard that this was done before my time, but older members can correct me, if I am wrong.
But I believe that we were close in 2012 with Forum knife, but Kristi took over

Do we need to include blade steel in the next poll? It seems that some want Super Blue to match the current FRN sprint, some want VG-10 to keep down expense, and some want ZDP-189.

Super blue would kill this sprint for me. I hate to say, but I will pass

I would pay for GID, but I also added white and navy blue to my votes.

I'd like to see it in S35VN or CTS-XHP.

P.S. I have the Foliage Green G10 Jester in my pocket right now ;D
