Yep :). The argument for FRN knives with "better" steels is easy to make and I make it frequently as well. Cut costs on the only non-performing or load-bearing part: The scales.

Usually posts like this spring up when people want G10 knives but they want to pay less for them...ie why buy a Manix2 or Para2/3 when you put the good stuff into a Tenacious? Answer: Because putting Dodge Viper seats in a Neon or French buttercream into a Twinkie doesn't make it "just as good".
