Sal,
I'm a fan of Coyote Brown. I'm not sure you've done one in that color as of yet.

I'm swooning. A caly 3 with bolsters, a dream come true. Any color! Thanks!

I like the blue on the Delica4 FFG FRN, burgundy would be good too. I think a Caly3 ZDP with Burgundy G10 would be perfect but VG10 is good too.

My vote goes to any earth tone. Nothing too light though...

Thanks, Sal, for listening. As for a sprint run G-10 color, orange comes to mind immediately (kind of like the G-10 UKPK). But a rich red would work, or how about a dark navy blue or dark steel gray (as opposed to the dove gray of the Para 2)? So many people wear jeans on a daily basis, that dark blue is almost camo :)

Another good choice!
I wonder how the earth brown used on the recent Military sprint would look?

This is a dream, bringing back VG10 Caly3 !!! What about BURGUNDY !?
IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE IN VG10 !
Please no more laminated ! It scratches so easy !

I would be all over a Caly 3 with a bolster and natural micarta scales. That would really be nice.

G10, FRN, micarta, any color , it is not that important. But bring Caly3 in VG10 back, sooner.Let's hope this dream will become reality in 2012.And I hope the sprint will be at least 1000.Debt crisis or not, I have a buget for at least 4 pieces.

Actually, I'm not a fan of the bolsters.

Totally agree op. Though I like the higher end look of the cf/laminated caly, the g10 was my favorite user and wish I'd never sold it. Cool to know though there are more variations on the way Sal.. blue blue blue :)

Agree. And bolsters will rise the price for sure. And the weight.
Simply FRN or G10 would be nice.Or micarta.Burgundy.VG10 blade. :spyder:

I like the bolsters but i wouldn't be at a loss without them. I've handled a few knives recently with natural rough micarta handles and i really like the feel. It would really set it apart from the sea of G10/FRN options out there.

Sal has already said he wants to make a bolstered version, which many of us would like. There are lots of non-bolstered Calys around for the no-bolster guys already.
I believe he's talking something like the bolstered Delica. As in, 'upscale.' Not every knife has to be made to a low price point. Here's one I'd spend on.
