Was there a pre order sign up and deposit yet?

Not yet. The dealer supposed to start taking pre-orders in September, unless something will changed.

Did this thing come out yet? I just picked up a military camo with dlc blade, it is amazing. It is so light for the size. Wasnt expecting that at all. Still need to pick up a para 2 also, but wouldnt mind picking up a sprint in that.

Nope. Isn't even up for order yet. They won't be out until March or April of next year. Best to keep an eye open though, as they should sell quickly once the pre-orders open. If you watch the forums, somebody will chime in and let us know when they're up for order.

Thanks, Ill probably have to pick one up. Id like to pick up that blue para 2 you also have ordered, but BBS is not shipping to NY, courtesy of the DA's tirade.

I've got the 20CP and LOVE it. Smooth as silk. Also have the BBS M390 on pre-order. It's good it won't be here til later. Hoping to get the Yojimbo2 when it becomes available. Must be knife nutz. :D :D

Anyone with the mule or experience with this steel wanna tell me just how special and good this steel is compared to others in spydies stable?

I've got the M390 Mule. I really like the steel a lot. I would go so far as to say it is one of the best stainless steels I have yet used. It takes a great edge and has very good edge retention. It is a pleasure to cut with.

You know what I haven't seen but would like to...a chart with edge retention and toughness for some of the newer high end steels we are seeing. A comparison with things like S90V, 20CP, M390 etc etc. Side by side in the same chart for easy reference...
