Um, excuse my ignorance, but what is peel ply g10? Is that like the g10 on regular spyderco g10 folders, or is it something different, like a g10 version of peel ply CF?

Could anyone post a pic of what peel ply g10 looks like?

I'd like to see the Jester with smooth G-10, please.

Hi Mark, yes peel ply G-10 is what Spyderco normally uses. To the best of my knowledge, the only G-10 handle they've offered which was not peel ply was the red one on the Schempp Persian Sprint Run.

EDITED to add: Just realized I mis-spoke. While the Red Persian is the only example of smooth G-10 on a Spyderco, there have been a couple others that were not peel-ply. The Perrin PPT and the Anso Zulu are carved G-10.

Hi,

VG-10, no teeth.

You guys aren't much help on the G-10. Looks pretty close so far. I guess I'll hide-n-wtch for a few days.

Hey Jazz, Thanx for the poll.

I think, it is easy. 600 of each. :) Will sell even faster.

Textured please. I know a little knife like the Jester is for light duty tasks, but I just like the look and feel of textured G-10. Although, it looks like the majority is leaning towards smooth. As for color, I'm good with the gray, but a range of colors to choose from would be nice.
Honestly, I'd grab one regardless. :)

Can I just say that I am in? lol. I vote for the "peel ply" for this type of knife I would rather have grip than the look of elegance of the smooth g10 that was used on certain previous models. Thank you for taking part in the community as always and bring up new ideas Sal you sir are a gentlemen and a scholar :p

Ps. hopefully if all things are possible and go well perhaps I may one day be able to shake your hand in april!

Smooth...or better yet how about something totally different. How about sculpted G10? Something maybe like my Coye Ridgeback fixed blade pictured here. Now that would be awesome.

although textured G10 would be awesome, I'm sure it would skyrocket the price on this affordable little folder

Textured would be my choice as well. Wouldn't want a three finger knife to be any slippier than it has to.
