Bummer

:( :( :(
No trees were harmed in the production of this message. However, a rather large number of Electrons and Magnetic Particles were somewhat inconvenienced.

Either that, or we'll see a post in the next couple weeks announcing it. :D

The Deacon wrote:Hate to be Debbie Downer, but considering that last year's Forum Knife provoked almost as much animosity as camradarie among us, I'm not sure Spyderco will want to risk another one, at least not so soon. If they do, I'm inclined to think that, as in the past, the choice of model and configuration will be decided by them, not us. If they select a model made outside the USA, it will almost certainly be in a configuration which already exists, or is about to be introduced and the only thing which will make it the Forum version unique will be the engraving. Examples of that would be the Forum Adventura and Lava. The reasons for that are both lead time and the minimum "batch" quantity their makers overseas require. If they pick a Golden made knife then both of those considerations are reduced to some extent. A special color on an FRN handled knife, or a color of G-10 they already use on other Golden models on an existing G-10 knife become more feasible. Examples might be a tan FRN, or digi-camo G-10, UKPK or Manix II.
Couldn't agree more. Lots of squabbling last year.Whatever Spyderco chooses to do is fine with me.
