The one that counts most is the primary EDC one, ground down to Colorado-legal length and de-jimped.
My first one was a Gen 1, fully serrated with integral clip that I carried as a member of POW/MIA investigation teams in Vietnam and Laos from 1988-94. The late Jim Cirillo (legendary gunfighter and member of the NYPD Stakeout Unit) took an instant liking to it when I worked with him on our first video project, so at the end of the shoot I presented it to him as a gift. He carried it faithfully for years after that.
I still have my first Endura trainer with the non-skeletonized blade which I ground to lighten the blade and more closely replicate the weight of a live blade. I have a Waved Endura trainer for demonstrating deployments with that feature. I also have several Endura 4 trainers set up with different clip configurations that I use in MBC seminars to demonstrate deployments from different carry positions and teach MBC tactics.
Enduras and Delicas are like potato chips--you can't have just one. However, unlike potato chips, they're GOOD for you!
Stay safe,
Mike

Michael, Didn't Jim develop, or work with someone developing a really nasty saw toothed pistol round for self defense/shooting bowling pins? I tried for years to get some for my ammo collection that I started when I was 8 years old ( 40 years ago?!!?? )My first one was a Gen 1, fully serrated with integral clip that I carried as a member of POW/MIA investigation teams in Vietnam and Laos from 1988-94. I believe I met him at training in the 80's at a course in Colorado. Joe

Jim did a lot of ammo development, but I'm not sure if the "Pin Grabber" (the round you're referring to) was among his creations. He was very fond of wadcutters, since they didn'y have ogive (a word that Jim's New York accent gave great character) or taper. After bouncing bullets off an assailant's skull during his first gunfight, he appreciated the "cookie cutter" effect of a wadcutter. He adapted that to a slotted hollowpoint with a patented plastic nose cone. When it expanded, it opened like a phone book. The Mastiff wrote:Michael, Didn't Jim develop, or work with someone developing a really nasty saw toothed pistol round for self defense/shooting bowling pins? Jim was a ballistics genius. His later developments were focused on ultra-high-velocity frangible rounds that punched through barriers, yet fragmented in tissue--amazng stuff. I still have a very small stash of 10mm he gave me that is rated at over 2,300 fps out of a Glock model 20. It's in my Armageddon kit...
I miss Jim a lot...

I have an E4 Wave and an E4 w/ the foliage green G10 scales.
I'm sad that I never got to train under Mr. Cirillo. FAS had a class that was to be held just a couple of months after his tragic parting, if I recall.
