That's cool was this before the Police? They look a bit alike.

Beautiful knife. I love the ergonomics and the hollow grind on this 20CV blade... Unfortunately, my example also has the issue I read about here: on the show side, the blade sits too close to the scale. I even feel like there may be slight marks on the blade from it touching. I’m still not sure what to do about it.

As usual I’m carrying a knife from the caly/calypso family.
Today I’m carrying my og calypso jr. One of if not my favorite knife of all time..
I put a fresh new 17 degree edge on it today for the first time and it’s sharp as a razor, always feels good when one of your favorite performing and looking knives has a super sharp edge on it.

I am very relaxed with my knife hobby .
I give myself permision to leave some marks on the sides of the blades from rubbing on the deck of the Edge Pro .
. . . scratches on the blade ? Sure ; they get that way from using them .
(when I resharpen this Endrua I will put box tape on the blade to protect this patina ; has some nice blue in it so I want to keep the patiina as nice as I can )
But mostly I am pretty relaxed about the way they look as long as they make me smile when I cut stuff .
I took the oval dot of gun grip film off the Endura and put it on the Pattadese to see how it would stick after first being on the other knife . Surprisingly good . (you got to heat it up with a heat gun to get it to stick tight in any case .)
I bought this second Pattadese quite a while ago to cut jimpping grooves into the sides of the G-10 . Then I discoverd the grip film a couple years ago . So far so good .
I will probably cut more of the excess hot glue from around the edges of the grip tape but just did this last night and wanted it to "harden" as much as possible first .
In case you didn't see this in the handle material thread ; I filled in the FRN pattern with two layers of hot glue , let them harden then added the grip tape.
Lumpy but it sure works .
So these were with me at work today .

You could try loosening all the handle screws , then put a dense cardboard shim between handle and blade then tighten all the screws . First shim to center it and if it goes back too far to that side when you remove the shim then maybe shim it to where it is off center to the opposite side .
Cool knife in any case .

Ya just gota Get a Gooney!!
This must be a great combo indeed! (Though from real experience I can only talk about the green part of it yet...

)
I am a bit torn between getting a Gooney or a Retract next... "torn" in the way that the solution probably will be the usual answer here: "Get both"...
