Since I got my Chap SE, I´ve been blown away by and talking a lot about what an amazing performer this little thing is...
... but I´ve been really loving the PE version before that too and still do so.
While the SE Chap is an unbelievable slicing machine, the PE Chap is no slouch either... and the one thing it offers over the SE version for me personally is the "hard use aspect": Somehow I tend to be a bit more careful with the steep chisel grind and thus finer tip of the SE Chap, while I really beat on that PE blade - it can take so much more than many might expect.

Carried my PE Chap iwb on a nice, long winter run today. Perfect for that, and it actually was my main "running knife" for quite a while.

... and you actually hold it in my personal main "Delica grip": Forefinger on the ricasso.

In the waistband. Keeping it salty.

This one has become "the usual." Warm day today (temps in the low 50s F) but I got off night shift this morning so didn't do much of anything.

I'm really digging this Shaman LW. I really like the grippy FRN, this is a great design. The stonewash finish is beautiful. And the edge grind is perfect and very very very sharp right out of the box. The action is perfect too.

I've never had an issue with BD1N steel. I think it will handle most of my tasks perfectly well. I'll update if that proves to not be the case.

So far I'm impressed with this knife

One thing I would like to have seen on a LW knife though, is standoffs instead of the steel back spacer. It would have saved a bit of weight (for a LW, this is a heavy knife). I may look into doing that as a mod myself and see how it feels.

Definitely a pretty stout and heavy blade. I imagine the balance of the knife isn't the greatest? Not something I've ever cared about with a Shaman, but taking a guess.

I've been edcing my Lil Native LW everyday the past couple months now, I personally love how easy BD1N is to work with. Yea, it dulls rather quickly but man does it sharpen up quickly! Less than 2 minutes and it's already back to shaving sharp, every time.

The balance is right behind the choil. Basically the same spot as on a PM2
