Also, I was impressed at how easy and simple the Native 5 is to disassemble/reassemble and the Dragonfly wasn't even too bad (and I was dreading it after last time I did it with a different knife).

What color was your Dragonfly to begin with? Looks good though and I like doing these sorts of projects, I have done quite a few different spyders around here for different reasons.toml4185 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 16, 2025 8:37 amunnamed (2).jpg
My first dye attempt. Both salts. I particularly like the orange Dragonfly.

Yes, dyeing scales and reassembling knives turned out to be quite a nice way to decompress after work :-)Jeb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 16, 2025 8:44 amWhat color was your Dragonfly to begin with? They were both stock yellow to begin with. For the Dragonfly, I used sunshine orange all purpose Rit dye with a bit of vinegar and it was not dunked for long at all (less than a minute).

The plain edge Harpy that was released this year featured a screw-together handle, as did the Cruwear Centofante released a few months ago.
Maybe it is a rolling change for all Seki models that previously had pinned handle scales.

Happy Friday : Centofante 3.
