Happy Tuesday : A freshly stropped Centofante III.
Interesting angle. Maybe post that in photo of the week contest?
Thanks, Vandyman. But I don’t think my quick coffee-table shots are comparable to those great pics in the Photo of the Week thread
Maybe use the same angle and knife with different background on your next shot. The angle just seems to work for me.

The pocket isn't big enough. So, I had a desk carry.

I just had to jack up two really super nice PM2's today, but it's going to be our first game day Saturday for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and it's not like I haven't tried to buy one of those red and black big killer looking Bumblebee knives that Spyderco made.
Heck I will still buy one of those knives if someone has one NIB that wants hard cash money for it. Those knives are awesome, unfortunately those people had the doors close for this knife to happen.
Heck we even have red and black Spyderco boxes our knives come in now. I really hoped for one of those to surface.
So I bought two unsuspecting PM2's and I jacked them up and really had my way with them... My red and black game day and tailgate party is close to the real red and black Bumblebee I could make, it's a little on the shorter blade size than I like and it's not really the killer red and black color I was hoping for, but hey I will take it...
The other knife was the sacrificial I guess lol, I swapped the DLC M4 steel from it and put the MagnaCut blade from the other in it.
Now there has to be a nice red and black lanyard made for that knife, with the Titanium spyders on it. I already have a lanyard for the other already made...

I see you’re a bit blue today. I’m feeling kinda fiery.
Guess I’m green with envy cuz these are the last of my tomatoes,I don’t have grapes and my knife is grey
Wow, I have pepper envy. How do you manage to grow those?

How did you go about dying this? There’s a tread on rit dye and the process. Radioactive made one too. Idk how he achieved it.

Mrj,
I have dyed several others but they were all going to a solid color like black, green and one I made for one of the nurses that basically saved my live, a blue salt version with H2 steel, she carries everyday in the hospital she works at here.
Those were not such a problem really. The knife here starts out a yellow and black Bumblebee MagnaCut. I bought it and the Jade scales with the DLC M4 steel knife off ebay, couldn't get any of these anywhere else.
Guess I could have used the MagnaCut steel but I wanted the black blade for the red and black Bumblebee. So you buy two perfectly good knives and jack them all around lol.
The recipe is a splash of water, bigger splash of vinegar, two pumps of Dawn dishsoap. Heat this all up on the stove in a small stainless pan to a boil.
Then add half the bottle of red Dye Rite and bring back to a boil, then slide your nice freshly scrubbed with hot water and Dawn soap scales in this bath and take off the heat and let soak for 20 minutes.
Pull out and scrub off good and clean again and your good to go. Now mine is not true red and black, they are close but not like those knives Spyderco made.
This one has a 3.5" blade which is a little short for my taste, but it will make a great game day carry lol. I had been hoping one of the oem red and black Bumblebee's was going to show up. Still looking for it lol.
This will work in a pinch lol. Got the red and black lanyard made for it and got both knives fixed with them.

Removed the wire clip on the LIl' Native LW to make it a slimmer 5th pocket carry.

Sounds good. I am experimenting with making and canning grape jelly, but so far it's just grape juice.
Had to buy pectin. :-)
