During the warmer months, the PM2 likes to perch on berry bushes as it scouts for unsuspecting vines .

Military 2 Salt today.

I'm experimenting with some ways to darken chalky G10, which is especially bad with these milled grooves. I have something on the front side just to see how it holds up, but you can see the difference it made vs the back side.

Image

There are a bunch of common oil type products that will darken G10 but I'm looking for a more term solutions that aren't outright dying the G10 since that's not an option for colored G10.

I'm carrying this one for a while and will get it dirty and scrub it down with a nail brush and dish soap to see how well it holds up.

I look forward for you results. Sounds interesting, I have a variety of oils that may work . Dan

Excellent cigar!

...and the knife ain't too shabby either :cheap-sunglasses.

I recently received this same variant of Dragonfly as my first for this model. Wasn't really feeling it upon first impression, but after a few days of carry and use, it has actually grown on me quite a bit.
Thanks! It was delightful.

Yeah, the Dragonfly is just sort of magic. It's so small and light and easy to carry. Heck, I have a bunch of them and some permanently live in jacket pockets.

I usually have bad ergonomic luck between the thumb ramp and that type of choil that forces finger placement. Somehow, everything lines up perfectly between this tiny knife and my large hand. It's also one of the better back locks for me. I do get a little blade play (more when kept a little loose for flicking) but that's where that half choil situation helps. Since I'm basically always holding the base of the blade with the scales, it anchors and everything works out.

That's not to say that there isn't room for improvement. I wish that they'd run it on washers instead of just blade versus scale. My favorite upgrade is the Flytanium kit. There is a very slight increase in weight with titanium but being so much more solid is nice. The big thing is that they set it up to run on washers. Unfortunately, they are out of stock and don't know when they will be making more. I wouldn't do it for all of them but I really want to do a few more.
