Such a great knife.

Think I'm gonna part ways with my S30V DLC and put the funds towards a back-up. I don't see it ever getting carried over the salt version.
I have the S90V and really like it but the Salt just works so well for me and besides a minor clip screw issue out of box was outstanding . Dan

Like this design a lot. This like a finger Flipper with that lug where it is? Never had one like this. That knife has one really nice point as well.

I remember when all these RIL frame locks & flippers seemingly flooded the lineup like mad all at once, and all the non-choil users seemed to snatch them up and praise them. Forums were filled with them. I thought it was the new way for Spyderco for awhile. Mantra variants, Southard variants, Peter Carey collabs, Lionspy, etc, etc

Then, suddenly they kind of just disappeared. Don't see them very often...
In some ways, I guess proven it was something of a trend?
In some ways, maybe too bad for current users who want these choil-less options? Sure there are still some options, but not as plentiful as I perceived it when those were new models...
So under appreciated. My de facto EDC. Soooo pocket friendly. My baby Seb gets no pocket time anymore. Also prefer M4 to S30V.

Got lucky on the secondary market. It indeed disappears in the pocket. For it's compact size it fits nicely in the hand.
