Need help deciding. Blue or Black for the stretch?

Definitely a dark Blue . Dan
Green is good tooCoastal wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 6:28 pmAfter 40 years of too many black knives, I would never purposely dye one black, but that's just me.
For yellow knives, I like a dark green or a fade to red. Or like Ladybug says, yellow.
Edited to say blue is nice, too. I just wouldn't pick it over red fade or green. Or rasta, for that matter.

Well your no fun.
Yeah, I think the black and black hardware look great, but your right. I have too much black.Coastal wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 6:28 pmAfter 40 years of too many black knives, I would never purposely dye one black, but that's just me.

Ok, that green looks great! What dye color was that?
I think just dark green. I’ll check it’s been a while

So I just went with the Blue on my Salt 2.

I don’t know how I missed this but that looks awesome! I actually think the stain leaching looks better than having clean sharp edges. It gives it a feeling of natural authenticity, so to speak. It looks just like real world snake pattern. Nicely done!
I like that! Dark in the pocket and doesn't stand out, yet maintains the high visibility for work!
Thank you. Came out better than I thought it would.
Thank you. That was exactly my idea of doing it that way. The green has grown on me for the visibility when out and about in nature. Just didn't want a green handle sticking out of my pocket.
