Just some green knives for no particular reason.

Sorry, late reply now, pages ago... But I don't think most people really truly comprehend how difficult the earn your turns approach really is, I'd imagine especially in the Alps where you are. I'd imagine naturally your fitness and stamina level is far above what most people can do.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 10:49 pmSpeedHoles wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:44 amThat looks incredible. Highly jealous of the environment where you live.
Do you ever spend time in Leogang or Schladming?
Thanks, and yes, to me it´s the best place on earth to live, can´t imagine moving anywhere else for a longer period of time (despite I definitely visited some other great places on this planet too).
Below is a another pic that on the right shows the mountain I was on when I took the pic you are referring to above.
/ Sure, both Leogang and Schladming are just about an hours drive away from where I live, and I´ve been there many times, especially in Leogang.
Though not really in the villages themselves other than for a quick coffee or lunch after a mountain hike, skitour or climb, but rather in the surrounding areas and mountains.
Both are rather big in winter/skiing tourism, but when it comes to winter time, I haven´t been skiing in an actual resort and using ski lifts for let´s say 30 years now, but exclusively do skitouring with "man powered" ascents, so the "earn your turn" styleoutside of prepared slopes and instead in the untouched regions.
But how come you know these places? Have you been there for skiing or mountainbiking (which is a thing especially in Leogang in the summer time)?

Great shot.
I agree. Pumping out Photo of week photos daily.

This is an awesome pair (and I don't even really like metal handles), very complimentary to each other as far as tools go, with contrast sizing and SE + PE.
