Bought a cheap loep from Amazon for 8 bucks with build in lights. Works like a charm. Edge is of the Caly 3.5.

Carrying both my H1 Jumpmaster and my Temp SE Sprint today - a lot of chop and drop going at work. Magnificent knives!

A little related anecdote (today they call me Anecdote-Al 😉):
I took a break from working on my Forest School site to pop to my youngest son’s class Christmas party across the other side of campus. When I got there the organising parent reps were struggling to cut up a heap of pizzas with a butter knife. After watching them brutalise a third pizza pulling all the cheese off I couldn’t take it anymore and offered them my Jumpmaster (it was still clean). Once they’d gotten over how ‘scary’ it looked they did their first long draw cut to halve a pizza, then looked up at me and said “wow, this thing is really sharp!”

I enjoyed the deep feeling of amusement and satisfaction that only comes when someone cuts clean through not only a pizza in one slice with your knife, but also the box and deep into the table underneath 😂 it reminded me of a more benevolent version of that He-Man meme -

Anyways, back to work.

Cool stuff, it’s funny how many people don’t realize what sharp REALLY means 😲
