Keep trying guys! I think there's plenty more to come but I've been wrong a few times before. I could've bought one earlier but, I already have the Cruwear one, so I decided to hold off and give someone else a chance. I hope everyone who wants one gets one
standard s30v and g10 was too "plain". They all waited on a "upgraded" Shaman, one of which that kept getting talked about was the Micarta Cruwear combination. I don't even think the carbon fiber s90v was as popular, or the subsequent dlc cruwear g10 version. However, I saw that once people did get the Crucarta in hand they realized: "holy **** this knife is amazing why have I been sleeping on it". In fact... a lot of the regular shamans are currently sold out on many retailers.

Good points by both of you! Yes, the Crucarta version was quite the home run when it came to the handle scales and steel compared to the standard version. I, like Sharp Guy, passed on the standard version and the St Nicks model was also my first and the gateway Shaman drug was on from there! This one is definitely the one that will have the best shot at making people love the model with the excellent combination of materials.Spyderman91 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 1:17 pmWe also must keep in mind that the reason why the "Crucarta" was so popular is because people thought theSharp Guy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 1:11 pmHard to say but how do you really know if you'll like any model until you actually have one in hand? I'm absolutely sure many will get sold for a profit because "I just wasn't that into it". Personally the Cruwear version was my first Shaman and I like it so much I'll definitely get more in the future but I'm sitting this one out because it only seems fair since I got the Cruwear version, it's one more for someone else.

Just snagged one from Indiana knives. It should be here on Monday. He had 10 and they sold out in less than 1 minute.
Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread
I don't recall ever seeing a distributor or dealer drop an exclusive or Sprint on the weekend? I'm probably wrong but I just don't remember it happening. Any ideas from the experts?

From what I have seen things usually get dropped during the work week, during business hours. Which makes sense.
"Rome's greatest contribution to mathematics was the killing of Archimedes."
Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread
Was it knife joker that dropped an exclusive at 1am?
Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread
The speed at which these drops sell makes me wonder if a buying app or bot is doing much of the buying. Is anyone aware of such a thing? I can understand an announced drop selling fast but random timed drops on weekends no less seems stretched. Anyone in the Know?
Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread
I so want one... Haven't been on the ball enough to snag one though.

Looks like weekend drops or at least sales do occur. Hard to keep a watch 24/7.
