Endela SE.
The knife that finally turned me into an "SE over PE" - guy, still highly recommend it to all who want to try out "teeth" and just a great EDC.
Supersolid, but still light, great ergos, nice carry, just the blade/edge could be a tad longer (so more handle filling)

I am sure you would not regret it...
It has a great serration "pattern" (the shallow, "better PE" kind) and does not break the bank, since one can really go with the VG10 version: A really good steel for teeth and SE keeps on cutting much longer than PE anyway...

Hi Gernot, so my nephew just got the k390 version yesterday at Going Gear and he loves it which says a lot because he’s not an SE guy…they break down a bunch of boxes where he works so he’s fired up…I’m gonna try it out sometime in the next few days…it’s the perfect sized knife imo and a salt version would be Dope!!!

Hey Salty, very curious how you´ll like it,my friend! .. Though actually I am sure already you will like it a lot!
As far as I can see the K390 version has about the same kind of serrations the VG10 variant has: Honestly, to me really "the better PE". I did not expect too much when I got my Endela SE, but then was blown away by its performance! Could not find real downsides, just advantages with its "teeth" - perhaps except a slight "steering" and of course it is not too kind too wooden cutting boards
And yes, for most tasks it IS the perfect size for an EDC folder! Not TOO long handle, but still generous with several grip options to choose from and a blade that has some cutting edge but is still nimble and good for tighter spaces.
Just if I really want a folder good at everything that might occur I still prefer the longer Endura edge.
... And YES once more: WE. DO. NEED. AN. ENDELA. SALT.
(see here

Sure, now the Manix Salt covers that size niche in a great manner, no doubt about that.
But still a Seki Salt in that size, and preferably the Endela (I actually prefer it to get "salty-fied" over the Stretch, especially due to the lighter weight and slimmer carry) is very desirable!

I have to agree , an Endela Salt would be a home run . I only have one in Cruwear and would love to get another in a Salt variant. Dan

Couldn't decide between the favorites, so it's both for today. This bleak black and white picture is my sad protest against being stuck inside for the day.
