What is that wood handled fixed blade? If you don't mind

u.w.

My carry for today (no photo) is still a PE PacSalt 2 (LC). Modded blade shape, BTE Thinned, and ~300 grit edge.

it's hand made like as Mora Eldris from one ukrainian knifemaker, 9ХФ tool steel 62HRC, walnut handle and brass lanyard tube.
i made impregnation for handle with Dunlop 65 lemon oil for guitars 🙃

Cucumbers at their best ;)

Not sure if these are available around the country or not, but if you see Grillo's at your local store and haven't tried them...highly recommend!!
We have them inn the fridge right now, so good! The hot Italian ones are great too.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

no time for pics yesterday, but it was a big day. my family and i moved into our first home. we've been renting for all 19 years we've been married and finally got to purchase our first home. spent all day moving in. i carried my 15v manix and pac salt, of course.

in bigger news, my wife actually asked me for a knife to use for unpacking. she never uses a knife for anything but cooking and eating, so i was happy to let her use my roadie all day. she wanted something that wasn't too big and was easy to open and close (in her case, meaning no complicated locks). halfway through the day, i asked how she was doing with it and she said she liked it. maybe there's hope for her yet. i think i'll just buy her a teal delica for when she's ready. 😂
Congrats LB!

Mine has discovered that I keep most of the fixed blades in a drawer in the kitchen. I think she might use some of my more expensive knives more than I do, simply because they're in that drawer + easier to open + close than the folders.

Thanks! Lots of cool models from Spyderco's past that I'd still like to track down.

Also, congratulations on the new house, LB. I hope your neighbors are nice.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Yep!! We had those last week haha. All 3 of us love pickles, so their on the weekly shopping list. Used to love Clausen's for years, then they were sold out one day, being on sale and figured I'd grab Grillo's. Won't ever turn back!

Big Congratulations! You can tell us about your landscaping journey over in the 'Show us your plants and flowers' thread'.

I bought my fixer-upper in May of last year. I'd love a pretty yard but for now I'm happy with flat and green :woozy

Today I have the Ayoob in pocket after flipping the clip around. It carry's better but the knife was easier to open when carried tip down.
