This was yesterday. You can't have too many knives on you. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

Oh man, you're giving me a run for my money. How many blades total here if you count the SAK? I typically carry 3 in my pockets, and one on my keys. We got it bad eh?bearfacedkiller wrote:This was yesterday! You can't have too many knives on you. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

Well, the SAK has two and my old stockman has three, plus three Spydies makes 8 sharp edges in my pockets. :D I don't usually carry the stockman but I was doing a little whittling so it was in my pocket too.

Re: What Spydeco is in your pocket today??
Well, BFK, you win with respect to sharpened edges, but I have you beat as to number of knives carried. When shooting pictures in Wyoming, I EDCed this setup:
Nilakka and a PM2 in my right front pocket
Gayle Bradley and Domino in my left front pocket
USN LBHB or orange Dragonfly in my watch pocket
Manix XL and Native XHP in my coat pockets
For a total of 7 Spydies.

I love it...very solid feeling and beefy for a smaller knife. The handle looks strange but is ergonomically one of the very best I've ever held in all manner of different grips. Really solid knife. I like it more than I thought I would when I first bought it.elena86 wrote:

I modified the ergos on the Native 5 today - not shown in this pic yet. The scales always felt quite blocky and unnecessarily uncomfortable in hand. I rounded (lightly filed and sanded) the edges of the g10 scales. What a difference! It is such a simple mod, and it melts in the hand now. I predict that I will carry this knife now a lot more than before.

Re: What Spydeco is in your pocket today??
It is amazing what a difference it can make. The forum Native5 was my first Native5 and I did not warm up to it super fast like I thought I would. I love the color and it was a chance to try some S110V so I carried it a little but not a lot. Kind of thought it wasn't a good fit for me. Then I picked up a Fluted Ti Native which has contoured handles and wow, just a little contouring goes a really long way. It is soooo much more comfortable for me.Brock O Lee wrote:I modified the ergos on the Native 5 today - not shown in this pic yet. I believe it was GoldenSpydie who did some contouring on a CF S110V Native5 as well. Maybe he will chime in with his feedback too.
