Still impressed by this one. The floodlight is great for around the house and the spot beam does great outdoors.

That is a nice light. Does the copper button stick up from that outter ring, or does it sit pretty flush?
That light have the double click to lock out?

It’s slightly raised but not too high. Easy to find without looking.
Press and hold for 3sec and it locks out.

Birthday gifts to myself.
Lost my MT1A pro for a week so I ordered the MH12Pro. The day before it came in a coworker handed my MT1A to me and said he found it on the floor. I think for edc the MT1A pro is great but the MH12 is more hand filling, has more settings, and a momentary.
I don't have a flashlight problem.
I don't.

When I got into flashlights randomly a little over a year ago, my wife said I was taking my hobby nerdness to the next level haha!! She's also the one that thought the knife hobby was a little strange...at first, until she realized how big the knife scene actually is. Now she's got a few of her own and really appreciates sharp kitchen knives and my ability to sharpen them.
Flashlights is taking a bit more time. Though I absolutely love when we're hanging around at night. Normally just accent lighting on and she needs to look for something and I take out whatever flashlight I have in my pocket. She of course says "I could have used my phone"...but look, it's already lit up where you're trying to look!! Flashlight wins haha!

I never understood the need for a pocket flashlight until a few months ago. So much easier than a phone light and stronger too. When things go bump in the night it nice to have a strong light at the bedside.

I think I'd like to get a LEP eventually just for fun. I have my bases covered for whatever else right now.

Wow. I love this combo. You have some of the most amazing posts and insights in the forum.
For those who.need it can you tell us the brand name and model of both the knife and light?

Anything special needed to care for the rechargeable batteries on flashlights?

Departure from my usual Fenix lights. I wanted something with a 1 lumen moonlight in a flood beam. Pretty nice. The orientation takes some getting used to if holding it in front of you. But the outputs are nice.

Are they built in USB rechargeable or do they require an actual charger? If they're USB you should be fine. If they require a charger make sure you get one that doesn't over charge. I used to use nitecore when I was using 18650s. Samsung was one of the better battery brands too. Other than that don't puncture them and they should be fine. Extreme cold and heat aren't great either. Of course I have an older rechargeable flashlight that lives in my truck and I'm in Louisiana. Still works and hasn't exploded yet.

Hmm, I swear I saw you post before about being Europe haha!! Must have been mixed up. Next time you're interested in a particular Fenix light let me know. Depending on the model, I can get some good discounts through my work.

Thanks I might hit you up for that. I’m still curious about the E35R model but new LD30 Renegade seems interesting too.
