Re: What Spydeco is in your pocket today??
Schempp Bowie! After finally receiving this knife, I'm very pleased with it.

Cat g10. It's my new EDC. I love this knife, but it seems like it's not all that popular. I know the CF model had QC issues but I can't see any reason why the g10 isn't very loved?

Would love a M4 Manix but it's the S110V lightweight. Have owned this, my first regular sized Manix, for a week now and it hasn't been out of my pocket since. Serious competition for the Para, largely because of the weight/FRN. I hope there's gonna be many Sprints in the FRN version. Would prefer the M4 Manix in tan FRN.

Native 5 cf 110v. Put this one away for a while after I got it. The blade wasn't ground quite right but I got a great price and since my knives are all users, I fixed it up and was good to go, or so I thought... The edges of the cf were sharp and uncomfortable as were all the edges on the liners, spydie hole etc. I'm used to the holes being a bit sharp and a quick touch up with some sandpaper fixed that right up. It's almost as if this one slipped out before it was quite finished. I finally got around to chamfering the cf and taking the sharp edge off the liners and she's been in my pocket and in use for the last 3 days. It's a completely different knife now and I love it, it's a shame it needed so much attention but I enjoy tinkering so now I can take a little pride in this one.

Maybe I'm an oddball, but I kind of like the slightly sharper Spydie hole and inside liners... maybe not so much handle scales, but haven't had that issue too much.
Just curious, what do you think of the Gayle Bradley with its proud liners?
Going back to Caly.

I don't mind it a bit sharp either, actually I left it a tad sharp on purpose for traction when opening but this was cut through a callous sharp! One side in particular stuck out too far. I'll attach a pic from after I smoothed it enough as to not cut myself. (I have since evened it out so it's barely noticeable). I like the look of the GB, and from what I hear it's very well finished and comfortable in hand and just the right amount of traction. I'm tempted to pick one up but for heavy use I already have a ZT550 and my Farid K2. No m4 yet though... It'll have to wait till after I can get my hands on a Roc if they ever make it to market...Oh any thoughts on GB vs. Tuff for hard use?
