Crucarta PM2. It is about time for a Crucarta Manix to become standard production.

Thanks! That is my own imitation of RC Bladworks Scales. Just cost a little under $10 at Walmart with some RIT Dye.

Be curious as to the process you used to achieve that beautiful faded look.

After cleaning the scales, I added Vaseline to the areas that I did not want to take the Dye. Unfortunately, the Vaseline burns off at that high temperature, so it did not leave as much brown as I wanted. I wanted brown splotches in random places. I did not want a uniform fade. I was looking at RC Bladeworks Scales and trying to replicate some of his scales the best that I could (for under $10). I did Aquamarine color dye bath first. Dried it, added more Vaseline where I wanted to prevent the color soaking up. And then I added Royal Blue with a drop of Black and did a 2nd bath. I only dipped it in partially for the 2nd bath. I wish I new something better than Vaseline that would stay on in that heat. Something that would not have to be removed later. Used some RIT Dye Color Stay to finish it off. I have not used that in the past with FRN or G10, but thought I would be extra cautious and use it on this one with the Micarta.

Thanks buddy ! I have read Vivi’s review . Very glad you posted picture , I almost bought a few months ago and wish I had went ahead to give me an all weather type fixed blade . Dan
Well, what's holding you back from getting a Waterway now? ;)

These days it could have stiff competition from the Enuff 2, but the Waterway still has its advantages (and certainly vice versa).

/ I am much more of a mountain- than a water-man ;), but here is a pic of the Waterway with at least some water in it (and yes, of course the inevitable mountains too... :smlling-eyes )

Man, those scales look great. Is that denim micarta, or terotuff?
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Thanks.
Those are the Terotuf, and they feel so soft, but not spongy... really love them and something about the feel of the Maxamet steel with these I just a perfect carry combo!

It’s a very nice knife. Underrated imo. The liner lock is probably what turns people away. Be fit and finish are top notch. Lightweight as well.
