So far still there, if the micarta cruwear pm2 wasn't readily available I'd jump on this. I don't have any cruwear, but I think I actually like the micarta better than purple. I thought really hard about it for about 10 minutes though when it dropped, just for the excitement of it!

The DLT Exclusive ParaMilitary2 with CruWear & Purple G-10 at $158.20 is $30.45 less than the regular production ParaMilitary2 with CruWear & Micarta at $188.65!

While the crucarta is a fine knife at a good price point, the G10 just feels more solid to me, and it's also at a significant discount. This seems like old pricing that got locked in before the recent increases. I'd be surprised if this purple cruwear does not sell out today.

Ok ok I couldn't resist, cruwear incoming! I actually accepted a new job this morning that should be a big deal for my family, and had thought of commemorating with a knife. It occurred to me that an exclusive from today's date would be pretty meaningful!

Has Spyderco done any M4 knife with serrations before? I feel like this is a first.

Hey guys. Hope it’s ok to post here. I went ahead and got a couple of the new para 3 exclusives and wanted to show them off to someone who cares! Apparently my wife and kids don’t… I’ve had an endura for years and just recently got my first para 3 for Xmas.(the maxamet) now I’ve added the green g 10 and the red frn with black blade! I’ve been using the red frn at work and rotating the other 2 daily as an EDC. I’ll be in trouble if another para 3 comes out soon. Alex

To me, that's a bonkers price for the Dodo. I think it should be priced similar to the Jester SNK had awhile back. I also prefer the G-10 Cruwear Para 2 from DLT over the Crucarta because of the nestled liners(and price)!

It should be more than a jester just not more than a Manix 2. But who knows I may be the dodo.

but people will not only pay it... they'll pay even more on the secondary market.

i think it's a great looking knife, but only after having it in my hand and realizing it's function over form. still don't want one in an expensive, rusty steel though. i'll never understand paying $170 for a pocket knife that will rust. and i know people have carried old slipjoints that have rusted and developed heavy patina for decades, but those weren't $170 either. it's just insane to me. i'd much rather buy a caribbean than anything in m4.

Difference of opinion is why we have such a plethora of knives today. And I think that is good.
