7/19 Sage info

Sal Glesser wrote:Hi THG,
The Sage project is quite difficult as new engineering is required for every variation and sales figures may or may not support the effort depending on the model.
We also have to get permission from the "creator" of the "lock" before we can use their name. This is sometimes challenging as we do not pay a royalty for the use, we only give recognition.
Chris Reeve has given us the go ahead for the RIL (Reeve Integral Lock) version, so it's next.
As we get each one into the market, we will begin the next. Some may take longer than others due to the aforementioned engineering requirement.

Anybody else think it's awesome that Spyderco is going to the Duncan Yoyo Championships? How many other knife companies get representation like that?

New Para and Milli:
Sal Glesser wrote:We're working on a new Para, but we'll probably keep the Compression lock on the model. We'll make other refinements in addition to refining the Compression lock. 4 way clip, refined ergos & "innards"
The new Military will probably add a variation with a stop lock.

Catamount,
I've read through the linked thread but could see no mention of timescales for the G-10 Dragonfly. Any ideas or seen any mention? Really liking the sound of a G-10n Dragonfly. :)
