[IMG]Here is my new Ocelot next to my old Wegner. The Ocelot is very nice with full liners! And it is surprisingly smaller than the other.

I just added a carbon fiber military and a gray caly jr to my pack. Here are some pics of the newbies stuck in with some others. I'm about halfway there to having all the caly jr's, I think.

Well, I still want to get my hands on a full-sized Persian one of these days. However, recently I ordered just my second :spyder: - a black PE Tasman. Hopefully it'll get here in the next day or two. Can't wait....

Guess I've been slacking off, a few new adds have arrived since my last post to this thread...

Titanium Delica, interesting piece, quite a bit lighter than the all stainless, does seem funny they never marketed these in the USA...

Image

Really neat wood marquetry Police by Santa Fe Stone. Thought it would make a nice companion for the Blanchards...

Image

Apple Coral Kopa, one of the prettier Kopas so far. I still think, straight out of the box, the Tiger Coral is the most eye catching...

Image

And the latest to arrive, and the only recent add to find its way into my pocket, an Ironwood Persian (thanks Scott!) :D

From what I understand, the Ti Delicas were made a few years ago, by the Japanese maker who manufactures the Delica, with Spyderco's permission, but strictly for sale in the Japanese market. Blade steel is ATS-34, which "may" indicate they pre-date the VG-10 era, or may just reflect the preferences of that market. It is drilled for RH TD carry only and has the older style polished steel three screw Spyderco clip with the patent info on it. Box is the typical "Japanese Market" Spyderco box, coated white cardboard, slide out tray, black writing, some in English, some in Japanese. Have only ever seen these in PE, again perhaps a relflection of Japanese tastes since the PE stainless Harpy in VG-10 is another "Japanese Market" piece, but cannot rule out the existence of other edge types.

Thanks for the kind words Scott, am still in the process of learning this new camera. Rest assured the Persian is getting used, aside from photo sessions, it has been either in my pocket or in my hand all weekend. :D

I seem to remember you supporting engraving the bolsters on this hardwood Persian when Scott owned it Deacon. Do you think you will get it engraved or does holding it change your mind?

If they don't have any left(I don't think they do), let me know, I know several other places that still have them.

I have to retract the DKPK - vendor could not get it. Have to find "something" else. Maybe an Endura 4........
