Does it all come down to the brick and mortar store having higher operating costs than the incoming profits so unless they can cover the costs of the shop through internet sales and mail order they have to close the store?

I've always wanted one, and this thread inspired me to search around.

I found one NIB for a decent price, and I just couldn't resist!

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. Only after it was long gone, did I realize how much I wanted one. Manix 2 LW is one of my favorite Spydercos. I don't see these come up for sale NIB too often. Not sure if they made less dealer exclusives back then or its the same amount now. I also recently picked up the 15v version as well, but wanted something a little more stainless (20CV) since I'm down in Florida.

Sorry to hear about Knife Joker closing shop. I've been pinin' for another sprint run of the Jester they did a few years back.
