Spyderco Shaman Cru-wear Sprint Run (C229MCW)
I chose this photo of my beloved Shaman. This knife has been a joy to use over the past few years, a fantastic hard working knife. The micarta scales have aged nicely and this picture supports the hard working nature of the Shaman.

Spyderco Sliverax (C228CF)
My submission is the Sliverax. Until I get a Bodacious in my pocket, I feel like this model was made for me. Perfect size and all though very unique looking it is loaded up with practicality. This picture was taken on Lake Lanier in Georgia USA Earth. My Family and I have spent so much time in and around this lake it feels like a bit of home. This is a favorite spot I like to frequent during the week. Just a bit of calm and peace that brings me joy.

@TkoK83Spy Great photo Rick! I love that you have seasoned the micarta by using it in the warehouse.

Nice picture, I like how the scales look like worn in leather. The Shaman is on a short list for me to get.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 12:46 pm

Love the contrast. Looks like a grail knife to me.Pokey wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 6:14 pmThis photo was taken on a dendritic ice formation on Grange Hall Creek in Northglenn, CO.
In winter the water levels constantly change with freeze/thaw cycles, and so do the patterns in the ice; no two storms or thaws create the same effect.
That day I brought the Stretch 2 XL Nishijin Sprint Run because every blade and handle on this model is different from the next.
Year round I'll carry a knife while shooting photos along the creek, or to cut up and collect trash that flows down the creek. The Pacific Salt 2 works great for the clean-up duty.
Good luck to everyone who enters the contest!

Thanks guys! Looks like another great year.
Rick, I was thinking about you when the contest was announced. Hoping you would come back to submit. We NEED one of your industrial pictures in the calendar.

Re: 2025 Forum Calendar Contest!
“Manix mania”

Where to start.
When i was 15 i fell in love with the Manix design.
Now almost 20 years later i already own 24 of them in all generations and variations , sprints and non sprints , lock backs and CBBL’s.
And i love each and every one of them. Sadly its for me not possible to put them all in one picture so i picked out my 10, G10 Manix 2’s instead.
Almost every single day of the year i carry and use one of them.
They always give me joy and pride when i am working with or taking pictures off them.
Every single one has a story behind them , some are gifts of my amazing loved ones , some i bought from friends , some mark milestones in my life and others are linked to incredibly lucky and beautiful days when i found one unexpectedly in a shop while on a holiday trip.
To fill in the picture i used memorabilia i have found over the years and also from my trips to the Amsterdam meet. My nr 1 day of the year! (Thank you Spyderco!!!)
I have bin lucky enough to go multiple times already.
This past event i met our amazingly talented Forum member and friend Robin there for the first time. And he gave me not only the cool French Patch in top of the picture but he also made me the wonderful custom scales you see on the 15v.
To cut things short i am Dimi and i am a Manix addict!
