Does they produce any sound when you move the drawers? :)

I think they are pretty quiet.

This is what I use but there are a few folders that don’t fit. I think I’m going to get this 3 drawer Gerstner instead soon.

I believe a friend has a Gerstner , maybe a taller version . Really nice looking on a dresser or table . Dan

No more than youd expect. Nothing overly loud or annoying or nails-on-a-chalkboard, if thats what youre thinking

Thanks! I just had something made from the same material in the same country (I guess) and it made a sound like a chorus of grumpy rubber ducks participating in a friction-filled conga line :)

Nooo nothing like that at all. Sounds like opening a wooden drawer almost

I had a similar problem. My final solution, after trying air-tight containers was 2 large under bed plastic containers. They are not air-tight. They keep the dust off of the knives and someone will not see large storage bins if they walk into the room.

Wow! Some of the storage solutions here are exquisite. Much nicer than how I store my knives. I use one of those reusable shopping bags from the local supermarket and just toss all of my knives it that. A few of those spring clips to hold the bag closed and all is good.

I do like the idea of boxes with drawers.

Not storage, but display stands. Bought these from Knifecenter years ago. Boker brand, I believe they were $15 each at the time.

I have two harbor freight pelican style cases with the foam inside that are excellent for my storage purposes. I have one for knives and one for flashlights. They are very convenient for travel. Maybe not the best value for long term storage tho
