MT25 - Steel: LC200N | Released: Apr 2017 | Quantity: Approximately 800
Released 4/12/2017. Was still available 8/8/2017. Could not find a solid out of stock date.
MT26 - Steel: Micro-Melt A11 (PMA11) | Released: Aug 2017 | Quantity: Approximately 700
Released 8/7/17. Very little conversions about it. Spyderco put more on the website around 3/9/2019. Then a user was able to pick one up at SFO on 9/3/2021. This is probably the slowest seller and longest gap of sales if you don’t include the ZDP-189 seconds sold late 2022.
MT27 - Steel: Micro-Melt PD#1 | Released: Oct 2017 | Quantity: Approximately 800
Released 10/19/2017. More conversation than MT26 but still was slow. Spyderco put them on their website over a 2 year span randomly. Seems I am the last known purchaser at this time as I purchased one at SFO on 11/16/2020.
I am going to take a little break now but that gets us to the point before the hiatus of the mule program!
Fantastic job on this! Thanks much for taking the time. I'll check for receipts and will reply if I can find and purchase dates later than the ones you posted.
It's puzzling to me that A11 and PD#1 were available concurrently with people on Bladeforums and other sites constantly asking "how can I get a Spyderco Mule?" I pushed more than a few people toward those knives. I suspect that people were also looking for the more popular steels, which seems odd to me. fwiw, the the A11 and PD#1 are two of my favorite Mules, but to be honest I like all of them.
It's a gift to have all these steels available in the same blade. We very much appreciate these knives, Spyderco.

Alright, had some time to do some digging on the forum, and this is what I have found so far for the first 10. This should give a decent accurate idea. I will continue to dig through others this weekend hopefully.
MT01 - Steel: 52100 | Released: January 2008 | Quantity: Approximately 600 | $79.95
Released 1/10/2008 - Sold out a few hours later according to forum posts.
MT02 - Steel: CPM M4 | Released: October 2008 | Quantity: Approximately 600 | $69.95
Released 10/22/2008 - Reportedly sold out on 11/11/2008. On 12/19/2008 Kristi posted that a few more were going to be posted on the website as well as some 2nds. I cannot find a post on when those additional ones sold out.
MT03 - Steel: CPM S90V | Released: February 2009 | Quantity: Approximately 700 | $69.95
Sold out within a few hours of release.
MT04 - Steel: ZDP-189 | Released: July 2009 | Quantity: Approximately 500 | $79.95
The possibly sold out same day. But this was the weird one with the heat treat issues. Kristi posted on 11/30/2009 that they knew of the heat treatment issues and a good batch (not seconds) was to be posted on the website in a window between 11/30/2009 - 12/14/2009 unless sold out before 12/14. She then went on to say a 2nd batch of HT would be performed and those would be released 4-8 weeks later, but cannot find posts on that later occurring.
MT05 - Steel: 9Cr18Mo | Released: October 2009 | Quantity: Approximately 1,000 | $19.95
Released 10/14/2009 and users posted out of stock on 11/25/2009.
MT06 - Steel: CPM S35VN | Released: January 2010 | Quantity: Approximately 500 | $64.95
Released on 1/12/2010 and users posted out of stock on 1/15/2010.
MT07 - Steel: Damascus/VG-10 | Released: October 2010 | Quantity: Approximately 600 | $84.95
Released on 10/1/2010 and users posted out of stock on 10/14/2010.
MT08 - Steel: Aogami Super Blue | Released: December 2010 | Quantity: Approximately 600 | $79.95
Released 12/10/2010 and users were posting that it was still in stock on 4/30/2011. I could not find a post about when it went out of stock.
MT09 - Steel: Cobalt Special | Released: February 2011 | Quantity: Approximately 600 | $84.95
Released 3/1/2011 and was posted it was still available on 6/21/2011. I could not find a post about when it went out of stock.
MT10 - Steel: CTS BD1 | Released: June 2010 | Quantity: Approximately 500 | $69.95
On 7/15/2010 Kristi posted that the restriction was lifted. On 11/20/2010 a user posted that it still was in stock. I could not find a post about when it went out of stock.
FYI, Spydero posted some ZDP 2nds for sale late last year. If I recall they were available for at least a couple of weeks. I bought one 12/2/2022.
EDIT: I can send documentation of these purchase if that's helpful.

MT22 - Steel: RWL 34 | Released: April 2016 | Quantity: Approximately 800 | $69.95
Released 4/8/2016. Was still in stock 7/18/2016. I could not find a solid out of stock date.
I ordered RWL-34 from Spyderco in January of 2019, so it was around at least that late.
Thanks. Added. That makes the sellout date for RWL 34 a whopping >1005 days.
I'm going to propose we don't track the availability date of seconds on the blue list. That adds a whole 'nother layer of complexity.
Blue list link if interested:

I'm still amazed that the K294 hasn't sold out yet... I had to grab a second one yesterday and had a friend get one last week I'll put a handle on for him.

I do think it is possible that some that we do not or could not find a definite sold-out date, and have records of people purchasing way later on than the last discussion of purchasing it on the forum, were possibly taken down off the site at points and then re-uploaded at random times.
Case in point the PD1 that I purchased at the SFO 3 years after its release. I do not remember it being on the site at that time, but they still had some. So I am thinking for some, they may have put some on the site at random times way later on. No way to for sure tell, just seems plausible.

Yeah. The T15 is back in stock. Interesting.
Yab says 1800-2000 for quantity on the HIC mule.

Sal mentioned they made "a bunch of them" to cover tooling on page 2 or 3 of the HIC thread. RamZar asked about the quantity of 2000, but it was never answered or confirmed by Sal from what I could see. So I think for now, the 1800-2000 is speculation.
I would not be surprised if it was greater than 2000 as the tooling on this must have been outrageous and for the past 2 years seems Spyderco has been comfortable bumping up the quantities.

Just for book-keeping sake, the first round of MT40 HIC sold out in around 4.5 hours with over 500 being released online according to Kristi, not including ones that were picked up in-store or did not pass QC.
Kristi said more will be released at a later date TBD as they are hand sharpening them at the Golden factory.

For the past several months, I've been watching to see any new Mule Teams--or old ones relisted. I've been so busy lately, I MISSED THE T15!
Oh, well. I'll keep checking back.

Does the adding qty 999 blades to the cart trick to check inventory not work anymore? I tried to do that to check inventory on VG10 EOS, AEB-L and SPY27 and it limited me to qty 5, so either these are about to sell out, or that trick doesn't work anymore lol.

The K294 has some very limited availability. On the new site the email notification functions do work, on 6/17 I received an email at 7pm est that they were back in stock. There was only 2 in that drop and I snagged one, but given that it is still visible on the store leads me to believe there might be another small drop of some limited inventory. Also read here on the forums somewhere of another user reporting them back in stock a few weeks ago, but they were gone by the time I checked.

If Magnamax is MT46, what are MTs 42-45? One of them must be 19C27, but what are the others...anybody know?
