If you could add any three Spyderco knives from 1981 to 2022, what would they be?

Wow how did I miss this most interesting thread? Because Spyders from what I affectionately refer to as The GOLDEN ERA ( 1998-2004) are right up my alley.vivi wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 12:28 pmI'd get....
1. Catcherman H1 yellow. This always looked like a great EDC for me - large, light, rust proof. This is one of the two Spydies I've been interested in but have never gotten to own / handle. This looks like it could be a Pacific Salt killer for me. Only reservation is the molded on clip.
2. A Ronin 1. This is one of two Spydercos I'm interested in but have never handled or owned. I could see myself carrying it too - looks more compact than the 2.
3. H1 rock salt. Looks like a fun camp knife. When it came out I was more into quarter inch thick choppers, but these days I prefer a hatchet and lightweight fixed blade for outdoors work.
But I do like Vivi's list a lot. Especially those first two i.e. Yellow handled, full SE Catcherman and the original RONIN.
I do have two that I would add to that list. I would love to add the recent C-60 Ayoob Sprint Run and a full SE version of the Breeden RESCUE for starters.

Caspian. Blunt tip model. MagnaCut version would be nice.

Red Persian. I snagged a black one but the red was always out of reach.

I was just tipped off by a fellow forum member regarding the existence of a Spyderco Sustain, and after a bit of thinking, bought it. Now I have 2!Naperville wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 10:03 amI missed out on the Hundred Pacer. I hesitated because it was a liner lock but I kind of agonize over missing out on that one. Beautiful profile. If it ever comes back as a back lock I'll buy one, maybe two.
Any 3 Spydercos 81 to 22? I have them all and would buy duplicates if I could:
- Spyderco Stuart Ackerman Sustain in 20CV
- Spyderco Province in 4V
- Spyderco Native Chief in S90V
I'm thinking of gifting it to my nephew for his birthday. He is now in college so I trust him with it. 20CV and 6 inches of blade!!!!
It is our responsibility as knife collectors to make our hobby interesting to others who might collect. Buy great knives, and hand them out! I think I've given away 5 so far and by no means am I wealthy.
