Honestly, no offense to whoever you heard this from...but that's terrible advice to follow. If people make a mistake, as long as they learn from it and make it right, or do their best to make it right, doesn't make them a bad person (obviously depending on the severity of a situation/crime) I can't imagine saying this kind of thing to a child, that making a mistake isn't ok?? It's a huge part of how we learn. You need to chill out man, it's just a freaking knife.akapennypincher wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:32 pmSomeone once said to me, do it right first time, as there is no excuse for needing second time to get something right.

Like I said, read his past posts to get an idea of who he is, age, etc. After that, it becomes much easier to just shrug it off.

Hi PennyPincher,
A few comments;
So far, no one at Spyderco has heard our complaints, even after reaching out to you? Kinda makes you look like a troll?
I realize that You and God are perfect and never make mistakes, but the rest of us do. Patience is a valuable character trait.
This is a public forum, and we keep it friendly. Perhaps you've noticed that folks here have been treating you reasonably and rationally in hopes that you might learn something. A reasonable and rational response from you would help?
If you do not have enough respect for the company and the folks here to be civil, then as mentioned, we might be better off not having you as a customer? You wouldn't be the first.

I got to go up in a big red balloon right here in Florida with some family. It’s a little nerve-wracking floating right about the tree line at times, but a really fond childhood memory.attila wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 9:53 amI got to go to the 2011 hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, NM. Anyway, would have completely ignored this thread if my eye didn’t catch this bit of it.
I’ve learned anger is a bit like those balloons if you want to get metaphorical, but there’s really no excuse to not recognizing it yourself and trying to rectify it, especially when there are folks offering help. People won’t always extend that hand, so take the opportunity when it comes.

1. What is the problem?
2. How would you like it corrected?
3. If your problem was corrected, as you stated, how are you still out money and how much?
4. If Spyderco employees have not been professional with you how so? How can their customer service improve next time?
I think I can speak for most of the people on this forum in that Spyderco is a great company and their customer service has gone above and beyond many times. I think if you can not articulate you issue to Spyderco then you just need to take it as a loss and shop another brand.

If you'd stop being a disrespectful child and actually get in contact with them like Sal (ya know, the founder of Spyderco, who has been trying to be in direct contact with you and telling you what to do to get the issue resolved) this would all be a much easier process for you. I'm sure at this point, seeing you act like a bratty kid...they'd be more than happy to give you a refund and let you move along and become some other companies headache in the future.akapennypincher wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 9:42 amActually itTkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 6:09 amHonestly, no offense to whoever you heard this from...but that's terrible advice to follow.
