As much as I do love the rabbit smoking the pipe, The kicking mule is better. The simplified shield will do better for visual impact and readability. It can also be made into a patch that can be attached to a host of different things.

I agree the shield style is more adaptable in use, and would like to see how the mule looks kicking outside the border.
Of the three fonts, I like the middle one best. All caps is better too.

Maybe something a little more simple for my tastes. It is a fun avenue to explore though.

Maybe "steel" should be plural to match "testers"?

How will the voting be organized? A poll perhaps?
Will Spyderco make the gear, or just give permission?

We are asking permission from Spyderco. Spyderco will have to approve the design.
I was going to use an outside vendor.
I was using this thread to get peoples input so please let your design choices you known here.

We can have more than 1 design. Then after obtaining Sal's blessing, upload them on one of the many online t-shirt printing platforms.

A bit more complicated. Spyderco needs to have an understanding with the printing platform to maintain control etcetera. I am in communication with the Spyderco team. The blessing would only apply to a tee shirt. I hope a couple designs get the blessing. Please make your preferences known on design and I will submit it for review.

Basically Spyderco would take care of the production of the designs we propose them ?
Would be good to come up with 2-3 rough designs by the middle of this month, which we could then have polished by early March.

So where are we ? I’m confused which most of the time is normal . What would be wrong asking Sal for some suggestions ? I know now he throws this out there . MG2

I was wondering if anyone could photo shop the outline of a Mule Team knife as the subtle shadow under the kicking mule on Araignee's post on the second page?
