Just helped bring the number down to 180. After a day of back and forth I decided to get 2, for my wife to use on me when when she sees the purchase. That CA tax adds on a nice chunk of change.

The carbon fiber is really nice IMO. Better than the Fat Arctic Storm in that it's smoother and shinier. Action isn't nearly as smooth as the SMKW PM2 which is the smoothest DLC Paramilitary 2 that I have owned. I imagine this Fradon Lock PM2 will break in. I mostly bought it because I don't have a Spyderco user in Elmax.

The marbled CF really cleans up nicely if you sand it with some 400 and 600 grit wet sandpaper for a few minutes. The factory CF finish has milling lines that quickly disappear after some wet sanding in the sink.

it's just poor lighting; true color is more what you'd expect from marbled cf with perhaps a bit more pop. i don't buy dupes as a rule, but ****...

Thanks. I’m excited to see it now. Love me CF!!! Still hasn’t shipped though. Yeah. I’m try to be picky if I ever get dupes. I just had a feeling I can’t resist making this an edc. So after waiting the 2 days I just pulled the trigger. Makes it a little less impulse.

I had to laugh: mine arrived today, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. There was a giant Lemonhead in the box!

These scales are INSANE! Truly unbelievable, and if you’re on the fence you won’t be disappointed. I wish I knew how to post a video to show them off better.

Nice pic! They do look great and I imagine even better in video and in person. The fat carbon on the SMKW exclusives just doesn't look as good to me. I actually prefer how that looks in photos compared to real life where you see how shimmery it is. Maybe I'm weird.
The marbled CF that Spyderco uses is beautiful, high quality stuff.
