I got mine. I like it. Its a weird little knife but its cool.

Post pics! Want to see the "flat grind". Shows a saber grind on the BHQ page.
It looks exactly like the pics on bhqs website. Its still a saber grind, its just a "flat" saber grind. As in flat grind from the edge to the saber grind line instead of hollow grind from edge to the saber grind line. (And frankly I dont think it matters at all but its something for people to not like and swear up and down how theres a world of difference...)
If you want actual pictures of that small section of flat grind I dont think my phone can get it to show up very well.

Im assuming this is what people were talking about. The only description of the grind in the paperwork and in the knife description just says its a saber grind. The only place in bhqs website that says flat is in the specs, which is just because they didnt change the grind description. I will guaruntee they list flat as a default for every spyderco and forgot to change it. I have never handled an original p-wog so I have no reference to compare it to. Laying a flat piece of metal on mine, it does appear to be flat-saber as opposed to a noticeable hollow-saber.

Thanks for the response! This makes sense. I thought folks were saying there was no saber at all and it was just full flat.

Flat grind huh. Makes it even less appealing.

I agree, hollow or flat grind doesn’t really matter much to me for a blade this size. I will be using mine mainly to open bag of chips and cut clothing tags.

Received it today, great handle ergonomics, but sticky lock and it's VERY thick behind the edge - 0.8-0.9mm, flat grind.

My lock broke in fairly quickly.

I have been carrying my new polliwog for 3 days, since it arrived.
First impressions, it's a funky looking little knife, but after 3 days with it I get it. It handles better than my native 5s,,
It reminds me of a cross between a Lil native, a hook bill, and a push dagger, I can't find anything I don't like.
