My Delica showed up today! It'll be riding in my pocket starting tomorrow.

And in case you wondered how the color compares to some other similar Spyderco knives, of the knives I have I find it closest to the blue on the original ZDP Stretch, with the Damascus Delica being just a touch darker and bluer.

Arrived today! 2 days after placing the order...

If you are straddling the fence on this one, i'd suggest you get one before they are gone.

I'm a Delica guy so I'm likely biased ... but, "This is a wonderful knife and my copy appears to be perfect"!

As I had mentioned in a post a long time ago, I'd likely buy anything Delica Damascus FRN; and I did.

I also own the foliage green FRN Damascus Delica which has been my favorite Delica. This one is right up there with it. This one comes with an unfinished clip ... it is personal preference but the clip I like better on my Delicas.

Received mine on Thursday, and really pleased with it. One oddball aspect of my packaging was that the included documentation was not for the right VG10 damascus release, but for a distributor exclusive glow in the dark FRN handle release. Unsure if that is an old release, or possibly a known or unknown future release?

I've never heard of glow-in-the-dark FRN before. Does the paper give any other hints?

Yeah, GITD FRN handles haven't been done yet. Sounds like an unknown future release. I suppose it's too much to hope it's for a Jester, as GITD won the poll even though we didn't know if it was even possible. Maybe dreams do come true!

Oh man, what distributor?? Just the GITD scales, or a different steel, too?

The documentation said it was for Sportman’s Supply. Appears GITD FRN is the main feature - otherwise following standard VG10 steel Delica protocol.

(Other apologies for the slight derail on an otherwise amazing damascus Delica release. For the price, you get a lot of unique features with the damascus and blue FRN. And while the damascus is apparently layered on each side of the VG10, it is still a great visual to enjoy. I’ll be much more likely to pick this release to carry over the supergold or hap40 wharnie.)
