The new Ebay tax thing is a bit annoying lately. Was only $5, but still...did everyone else get charged that as well?

I think it is seller based. If the seller is in the same state as you AND they choose to collect tax. Unless it is mandatory now?

I just read through some stuff on eBay as google had a lot of other people asking the same question. I guess for me in NY, this just started on June 1st. I don't think it matters where the seller is from, but only where the buyer is from?? I looks like other states will be effected in the future as well. We already have incredibly high taxes, even in Central NY...now eBay or the IRS or whoever wants a piece of the cake too :o

Any one have any news on when Heinnie Haynes, Lamina and/or other main European sites will be getting them in stock?

Been and gone at Lamnia! I ordered this morning from Coutellerie Tourangelle, who say they’re in stock.

Found some in stock and snatched one. Not sure if I’m allowed to mention where on here. After reading up AEB-L on knife steel nerd’s site, I’m really eager to try ‘er out. Could be the perfect discrete travel knife.

Don't be surprised to see the comparison Pingo pix cross-posted in Doc Dan's Pingo thread; OHO v THO.

Well done. Gratzi!

Nice to have this reach fruition, and glad to have a complement to the K390 patina-prone version ( I have carried its Elmax cousin only a few times, and quite like the underrated N690 versions).

Thanks for posting these pictures. The Urban LW is my favorite pocket knife of all time, and I have had a lot of them over the decades. (The Chap is in near second place, but locks are not illegal, but frowned upon, here, so the Urban gets a lot more pocket time of late).

I really like what I am seeing of the Coyote Urban in the pictures and videos I've seen.

Thanks. I had a notify me request in Lamina. They didn't
Managed to place an order with a German site yesterday but looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see whether they will honour it as no confirmation email yet. Fingers crossed..

One thing about the Urban LW vs the Chaparral, while the blade on the Chaparral is a little tad longer than the Urban's, the cutting edge of the Urban LW is a tad longer than the Chaparral's.

I received mine today, and both of them are quite disappointing in the fit-n-finish dept. One of them had excessive buffing of the FRN, removing the nice radius in 2 places and causing FRN burrs, the other has blemishes on the blade from the factory, both have poorly cut jimping (looks like galling), both have thicker-than-necessary edge grinds, and both have nearly exposed tips when closed.

I understand that it's mostly form, not function that was screwed up. Therefore, on a Sprint run, these aren't quite fatal flaws. I expected far better from Maniago, however, since my K390 Urban and P.I.T.S. had no fit-n-finish issues besides being a tad off center.

I hope everyone else gets excellent examples that they can be proud of.

That’s disappointing. Where did you get yours?
