I’ve been quoted £79.95 by HH on my pre-order, which compares favourably with the £67.95 for the BD1N/FRN version, methinks.
Just came here to say the same thing. That’s $105 USD (approx). Very nice price indeed!
Wow, that will do nicely. They are taking ore-orders?

Thanks LC. Pre-order has been placed. Maybe I’m weird, but this is the one I’m most looking forward to.

Not crazy at all. This is the highest knife on my list. I’ve been begging for its return for years. Maybe I’ll try to look up my first post...

I love my UKPK, and I love my orange urban. I can't help but wish I could combine the two into a G10 UKPK. I was doing some digging and I found that G10 UKPK's used to exist, I'm just late to the party. Still so much to learn haha.
I know that these knives aren't as popular on this side of the pond because we enjoy our locking knives, but slip joints do have their place. Any interest out there in some new G10 UKPK's? Maybe some new, quirky colors or something. Lets hear it.

Got my order in. If the price they're quoting is correct it's a no brainer for me.

I have to say that as an office knife, my Lightweight UKPK in s110v has more than done its job. That said, I'd really like to see where HH and Spyderco go with offering this as an option in the US. Would like to get my hands on one for sure.

So someone just pointed out to me that the new Red G10 UKPK has an extra screw. Anyone know why?

From EdgeMatters, where the same thing was asked ...
“Monday, 2:54 am
It's a nice piece. Like the original but with a few improvements.

Something to do with the more recent tuning fork spring, perhaps.

Hahahaha this literally made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that.
Thinking about this some more (like I don’t think about it enough) I realized that if HH a really does have exclusive rights to the UKPK that means no BladeHQ M4/Jade version. Bummer. I hope they make an exception.

Hmm, i hope and think they only own the rights for This particular Version Of The ukpk. If not, That is truly not Great.

The UKPK rocks.
When ever I travel to Germany, I carry my UKPK, as these are legal to carry there (also on occasion a 12cm fixed blade, as they are legal to EDC).
I only have the most humble version of the UKPK - the FRN/BD1 - but to my surprise it punches way above its weight. I like the knife out of all proportions to its size, humble steel and not least the look/feel of the FRN.
Ive always wanted a G10 version.
The UKPK is IMO one of the best knives, that Spyderco makes. Ive bought from HH on several occasions and might get this one as well.

Are there any pictures of the back / spring? I'd like to know if it has a short spring as the lightweights UKPKs or a full spring that reaches all the way to the fourth screw...
